Renault Trafic T1000 Camper
Van
'Shire Leader'
Professionally converted by
'Shire Coachcraft' of Grimsby
I unfortunately have to sell
my Renault Trafic T1000 Campervan due to a sudden unforeseen change
in circumstances..
This is a really nice, modern
looking, professional conversion by 'Shire Coachcraft' of Grimsby. Its very similar in
spec to an Auto Sleeper conversion, but without the hefty price tag
that an Autosleeper seems to command!
This campervan is based on a long wheel
base hi-top so you have a decent amount of space and no
stooping in and out of the back doors! (Take a look at most Trafic
Campervans and they are short wheel base models with a hi top or pop
up added
afterwards, this means much less room inside and small back doors!)
I'll try to describe the camper
as best I can, and have included as many photos of it as possible.
Each of these is 'clickable' to see a larger version. If there any
other photo's you would like, please email me and I will get some more
done.

Additional 'Sunnflair' Awning
Very good condition Sunnflair freestanding awning complete with poles, guy
ropes, pegs, instructions, bag and groundsheet (not shown). Easy to
erect,
fixes onto the side guttering of the campervan. It has pvc windows to three sides
with curtains. It's also totally closable from the campervan side
too, so could
be left as a freestanding unit (although its not strictly as 'drive-away' as newer
type awnings are as it would need uncoupling from campervan gutter).
Documentation / Receipts / Instruction
Books
Bills are supplied from previous owners back
to 1996. These cover items such as tires, exhaust, clutch,
cambelt, brake shoes, steering rack etc. You can see from this that
the previous owners have looked after this van and been meticulous
with the servicing and maintenance of it.

Other Information
The campervan is 100% waterproof and there's no damp
anywhere. It's very clean and tidy inside - I had
the carpets and soft furnishings professionally cleaned when I bought it.
Since we bought the campervan we've fitted a
brand new roof light top and a brand new RDS Stereo Radio Cassette
player.
In the time I've been using the campervan it has
never let me down, its a pleasure to drive and always gets waves
from fellow campers!
As far as I am aware
everything works as it should, on a recent trip to the lakes we
tested hot water, fridge, stove, grille, heater etc.
Bodywork is in reasonable condition
for the age, bearing in mind this camper is fifteen years old.
There are a some rust spots, but nothing too major to worry
about, the underneath is solid. As you can see from the photo's
it's a good looking van, but I will be honest, it has had some paintwork done in the
past (by previous owners) so if you wanted it to be perfect
again a quick respray would make it look superb.
We have had the campervan valued by a local
motorhome dealer who has valued it at over £4000 and as such they have offered to sell
the campervan on their forecourt on our behalf. As a result, the
camper is therefore subject to being withdrawn from sale at any time
without prior notice.

Please
feel free to come and take a look at the campervan evenings after
6.30 and all day Saturday. I live in
Apperley Bridge on the outskirts of Leeds/Bradford. The camper can
be viewed by prior arrangement only and any test drives will be
undertaken subject to providing necessary insurance cover (without
this I will have to take you out for a drive). I
accept Pay Pal but if you wanted to pay by Pay Pal I would have to
ask for an extra 3% of price to cover Pay Pal
charges. Otherwise a personal cheque (allowed to clear), Bankers
Draft, or cash is fine. Thanks for
looking, any questions at all, please email me at

Tip
if you are looking for insurance quotes, I have found the best to be
the Caravan Club or Adrian Flux. |
